About This Project

Our clients approached us with a vision for the completion of a 1400 sq.ft. basement in Apex, NC. Their desires were to create an elegant space for entertaining friends and family in a large area while also maintaining the cozy feel of comfortable smaller rooms. The goal, a black and gold theme througout the entire basement. The CORE design team cleverly crafted a theatre room, billiard room with custom wet bar, exercise room, home office, and full bathroom into the basement. The theatre room features a projector screen complete with 5.1 surround sound and full lighting controls. A raised seating platform ensures that everyone has an unobstructed view. The billiard room houses a custom wet bar to serve all thirsty patrons. In the home office, CORE constructed custom furniture to house an extensive collection of memoribilia. The adjacent full bath was completed with custom vanity & matching mirror and hard tile with custom stone accents. The exercise room features a “SportCourt” floor and surround system to ensure that working out is enjoyable.
